Vintage 1980s Sorbara Red Wool and Black Mink Trim Full Length Maxi Coat

Red Sorbara full length coat with black mink collar and cuffs. Long shawl fur collar. A-line cut. Very full sweep. I believe this to mink collar and cuffs. Large logo buttons. Three signature button closure. Hidden slit pockets. Tab back belt with two more signature buttons. Fully lined in beautiful vibrant red with "KWM" monogram on interior. No shoulder pads but the gathers at the shoulder/sleeve give them shoulders a full effect. Awesome three logo button front closure.

He sold furs to major high end stores across the United States and his goods became very popular in other countries as well, particularly Japan. It was in 1981 that Sorbara entered into an exclusive agreement with Neiman Marcus. It was agreed that Sorbara would design his magnificent furs to be sold only at Neiman Marcus stores. This verbal agreement lasted over 30 years. Sorbara's success can be attributed to his drive for perfection and his demand for the finest quality materials and workmanship. Everything had to be made and tailored to his high standards. Today, Sorbara Furs are regarded as one of the most prestigious fur houses in the world. Quality, fashion and beauty are all trademarks of Sorbara Furs.
