1960s McMullen for Hudsons The Woodward Shop Pink Knit Beaded Cropped Jacket - Size 12

HIGHLIGHTS

From the Woodward Shops of Hudson's Department Store on Woodward St. in Detroit. Hudson's closed it doors in 1983 but at one time was the tallest department store in the world! McMullens actually produced the garment likely with Irish wool. The hand-beading was executed in the Crown Colony of Hong Kong. the knit jacket has really travelled the word!

Pale Pink slightly cropped vintage knit and white beaded jacket. Font darts. Bracelet sleeves. Hand-bordered with rows of white beads and off white pearl beads in a unique cross hatch/heavily mounded technique. Fully lined in what is pink crepe. One inch slits on the side seams at bottom for a flattering and generous fit. One hook and eye closure at top neck.

Condition: Beading is in pretty great shape with a few missing beads. A few moth nips. One is at the back of the armhole (see photo). A few small stains (see photos) that aren't noticeable overall. Priced accordingly.
