Rare!! HALSTON Copper Metallic Chainmail Late 1980 / 1981 Disco Studio 54 Stiletto Sandals Size 8 (SKU 10285SH)

1980s (very early) RARE!! Halston copper metallic DISCO Studio 54 stiletto strappy sandals with metal mesh straps. Made in Italy of beautiful copper tone leather on uppers and soles with applied metal mesh. The "chainmail" looks like Whiting & Davis but am unable to confirm that. One owner, purchased in 1980 (ask for details!) lovingly worn but DO NEED SOME LOVE!! Gorgeous and so unique! (See SKU 10286 for complimentary bag).

From a Pat Cleveland interview published on The Cut on 5/18/21 about Halston and Studio 54: "Elizabeth Taylor would be there and then Liza would get up and sing in the middle of the party, and we’d all be dancing in our Halston sandals." You can own sandals just like those!

Condition: See photos. Scuffed on the bottom of shoes. Note: These have wear but considering their age--and all the dancing done in them--they are incredible! Give them the love they need and disco the night away! One repair (glue) to ankle strap/elastic has not held a professional could fix these. The leather covered heels have a ding or two but the leather has held.
