1990s Pristine Coral 100% Silk Skirt Suit from Former Dior Designer Gianfranco Ferre / Forma Line Made in Italy PLUS SIZE US 24 !

Spectacular perfection in a PLUS size from former Dior designer, Gianfranco Ferre! The most amazing thing about this suit--aside from that it appears to have never been worn--are the optional removable sheer silk collar and French cuffs which give the wearer the option of taking this suit from day to night--or to a very special event such as wedding! This is no run of the mill suit. Made in Italy, the jacket has a long line with padded shoulders, long notched lapel and one cream colored button front closure and pockets at the hip. The sheer collar and French cuffs are removable.

The jacket is paired with a matching calf-length straight silk skirt. The waist has darts on the front on each side and the back half of the waistband is elasticized with a side zipper that closes at the top with a matching coral button. The back of the skirt has a 5" kick pleat. Fully lined yet light and sheer.

Ferre is not only a famed designer in his own right, but also as a former lead designer at Dior.
